OUR CASK BEER


 

 

 

 

WANDLE 

Named after our local river, Wandle was the first beer that was brewed by Sambrook’s back in 2008. Now multi-award winning, it is a delicious, balanced best bitter. Brewed with Maris Otter pale malt, Fuggles, Goldings and Boadicea hops and finished with our unique yeast strain this beer is ideal for any occasion.

PUMPHOUSE

Pumphouse Pale Ale is named after the local landmark in Battersea Park. An English style Pale Ale with a balanced sweetness and hop character, late hopped with Wakatu to give a pleasant floral, and light spice aroma. An updated version of the classic English Pale Ale.

JUNCTION  

Junction named with a nod to our local train station, Clapham Junction, Junction is a rich, premium ale. Sweeter than Wandle it is brewed with Maris otter Pale and a dose of crystal and roasted barley with Challenger, Goldings and Bramling X hops. there is now a good reason to go “Up the Junction

POWERHOUSE 

London was famed for its Porters at the turn of the 20th century and this is our madern take on a very London beer style. Brewed with lots of chocolate malt to give a more rounded finish and a slightly lighter colour to traditional porters, Powerhouse is laced with toasted malt flavour, sweet treacle and a lightly smoky finish.

OUR KEG BEER


 

 

 

 

LONDON PALE 

Our LPA was the first release in our keg range and is borne from a fusion of an English Pale Ale recipe and a German Lagering technique known as Krausening. This produces a pale ale with a long, crisp finish with similarities to a lager in style and flavour. Great with cheeseburgers, light salads or white fish dishes for that hit squeeze of citrus.

SESSION  

Our Session is a light, hop forward IPA brewed with five different hop varieties. The west coast USA Chinook provides the light bitterness while Mosiac, Summit,Simcoe and Ekuanot Hops provide a citrus/peach aroma. Crisp, fresh and clean, this has fast become our best selling kegged beer and is dangerously easy drinking.

BATTERSEA IPA  

Brewed to 6.2% this IPA is a more typical English IPA, with sweet notes from the Maris Otter grist, offset by a lovely balance of new world hops to give a citrus and orange zest aroma with light bitterness. A versatile beer at the dinner table, Battersea IPA matches well with grilled meats as a pleasing contrast to the char or to put out the fire of a spicy chilli.

BATTERSEA RYE 

A unique take on a Rye beer style we have chosen to pair fruity British hops (Bramling X, Northdown and WGV) with a light rye ale. Blackcurrant notes from the Bramling X pair nicely with the spiciness of the rye to produce a rich flavour with lingering bitterness. Great with American BBQ, rich stews and sticky fruitcakes.

RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT  

Brewed to 10.4% our Russian Imperial Stout is a special beer, complex yet smooth it has raisin, plum, and dark fruit undertones with a rich malty finish. It is a multi award winning beer with its highlight winning supreme champion keg beer in the SIBA 2016 beer competition.
