Celebrate Mild May with Us – Six Exceptional Mild Ales on Tap!

If you’re a fan of traditional British ales, mark your calendars for Mild May! From 7th – 11th May, we’re celebrating this beloved beer style with a special lineup of six outstanding Mild Ales, showcasing rich flavors, smooth finishes, and true craftsmanship.

Mild May Beer Selection

We’re proud to serve these fantastic Mild Ales throughout the event:

• Harvey's Dark Mild – This malt-driven Mild unveils a mellow masterpiece of nuanced flavours. Gentle sweetness dances on the palate, followed by a dry, nutty finish. A hydrating, soul-refreshing brew.

• Goacher's Real Mild Ale – A traditional dark mild with an ABV of 3.4%, featuring a deep mahogany color, low bitterness, and full-flavored profile with roasted black malts and chocolate notes. 
  

• Thames Side Brewery' Mild Mallard – A traditional dark mild, that is both sweet and malty. Using both traditional Fuggles and Golding hops, this seasonal beer is brewed in the spring, in conjunction with CAMRA’s “Make May Mild Month” campaign. 
  
  
• Tap East's End End Mild – The East End Mild is low in ABV but high in flavour. It is rich in a chocolatey malt flavour with a touch of dried fruitiness at the end.
  
  
• Tonbridge Rustic – A deep bronze-colored, rich-tasting country ale. Lightly hopped with the scarce Kent-grown Epic variety, giving a delicate spicy taste and aroma.
  
  

• Arundel Black Stallion – A smooth tasting, lightly hopped dark ale with chocolate and roast aromas. Low hop addition gives a slightly sweeter character.

In addition to serving these fantastic ales, we are honored to host the Champion Beer of Britain – Mild Category Judging. This prestigious competition celebrates the finest Mild Ales in the UK, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it. Whether you’re a seasoned ale lover or just discovering the joys of mild beer, this is your chance to taste some of the best brews in the country.
